There’s A Glass Wall Between Us

It seems that, other then my core group of…three friends, anyone else I meet I feel very disconnected to. In any sort of community I’m in, whether it’s real life or internet, I feel like I don’t belong. Like I’m on the outside looking in, unable to win the trust and friendship of others.

I’ve noticed this one on one, too. Talking to someone I met six months ago, even though they’re friendly and helpful, I feel like I’m not really friends with them. I want to be friends with them. I just don’t feel like I am. It’s not that they’re doing anything to say “Hey, I don’t want to be your friend!” It’s just something I feel.

It’s like I’m Spock in Wrath of Khan, and everyone else is Kirk. I’m dying to save them and the Enterprise, but instead of the tears rolling down Kirks face, I just see a blank stare.

Got two themes composed for the thing I can’t talk about. I can’t say why (that must be annoying) but I love the percussion I’m using. It’s it’s basically this metal thing that I have, no idea what it’s supposed to be used for, a small fan, and a jug of water.
